FINALLY!
Today’s newsletter is a little different because I actually have something to say besides “hang in there” and “maybe try this on your resume?” (JK. I will absolutely perish on the flaming, dramatic hills of every piece of advice I’ve ever screamed into this newsletter. No regrets.)
When I started The Offer Letter, it was mostly so I didn’t feel like a total useless gremlin while I was building my search firm from scratch and trying to get real jobs and real clients for all of you lovely people who’ve trusted me with your resumes (?? still not over that, btw).
But also (and I mean this) I never wanted to be another one of those crusty recruiting firms that only cares about landing five-figure fees from companies who barely know what they’re hiring for. I wanted to build something that could actually move the needle. Something that could get you into companies that get it. The ones that see you, respect your impact, and prove it with salaries that don’t make you want to walk into the sea.
